worth a try は、相手の行動を促すときや自分自身が何かにチャレンジするときのポジティブな表現です。
“It’s worth a try.”
試す価値あるね
shot にも「試み」という意味があります。ですから、worth a shot も worth a try と同じ意味になります。
“It’s worth a shot.”
